Help Me out Guys

Hey everybody my buddy just wrecked his truck into a ditch. He has a extended cab 08 and the whole front was under the truck shut off and he got out and pulled the keys out. the truck started to try and crank by it self and it sounded horrible. Im just wondering if it will get totaled or if they will fix it.

Only reason i was asking was he was worried about his policy going up. But they said it was totaled today. He bought the truck for 30 put 15 in it and they are gonna give him 27 for it. and it only had 75000. He is so mad

Buy the truck back from the insurance company they won't want more then a couple grand, yank the aftermarket parts and all the other good parts and sell them.
