Adding a fuse and ground wire is simple but will cost you $$. A high quality harness is $40 or less. I'd rather just buy one. Retrofit HID bulbs should work perfectly in your housings. If they don't then the bulbs are very low quality or installed incorrectly. You may still need to re aim after install. My kit is from the Retrofit Source.
