So the transmission is correct by shifting from "3rd" to "5th" then to "6th". Technically the 5r110 has 6 forward gears and the 3/5 DCS helps with the shift from 3rd to 5th. I do get what your saying though, and Dougs solenoid is on my wish list. Not trying to be a di*k just thought that might be what the guy at ford was trying to say. OP- The early shifts are just part of the tune, as is the torque converter not locking in OD sometimes. The X-Race also will lock the converter in 2nd as well. As it says it is a RACE tune. [/QUOTE]
