I made aluminum inserts for the pass thru connections and cut a groove in them for a oring. I don't know how long it'll last. But chances are I can address any issues it may have. I can say that it is way quieter. Can no longer hear it going down the road. Also the pass thru connections are soldered to the wires on the inside.
