A silent code won't throw a cel but if you run a diag while the switch is on it will pull up the fan code as soon as you shut the fan off you can clear it if wanted but you will never see it until you check for codes. I am using a older edge insight to monitor everything. But the 6.4 has different wire colors so make sure and check before doing any wiring and find the ground wire.
