Hpop 94.5-97

Buddy bought a hpop t500 I think it was, he was wonderin if it would bolt in to.his 94.5 or if he would have to change anything. Said the gaskets are different and I have no clue

Hpops are different for the 94.5 & 95 than what the 96-97 run

I have a t500 and from what I was told was that they need an anti drain back valve or what not so the hpop doesn't drain out. If it was for a later year that he bought it from then it would have to get sent in to have it swapped to be able to run on the early OBS trucks. But yes still contact Joey.

Yep, like others said, the early ones are slightly different. You can run an early style on a later motor with no problems, but if you put a newer 1 on an 94.5-95 you'll have a really extended crank before start because the hpop res. will bleed down after sitting for awhile. Either get the right hpop, or swap to a newer front cover.
