You did not answer how you cleared the cylinders of fluid after installing injectors. I would ohm both 1 and 8 injectors starting at the under valve cover harness. The center pin is the common to all injectors on that bank. The two front and rear are glow plugs the others are the respective injector pins. These are not Pensacola injectors are they? 1 and 8 are new? You did or did not try move dull sounding to different cylinders to see if the dull buzz followed the injector? The 42 pin connector right there where the harness lays on driver's side valve cover and sometimes chafes, can have corrosion on the pins. Disconnect with 10 mm. Lift harness look under for chaffing and check pins in connector for corrosion. I just moved to a new house and shop.
