I think there is a lot more to blocks cracking then most say. I bet many of them were from installer error, whether it be using the incorrect sized torque wrench, or a wrench that is not calibrated causing it to overtorque. All it takes is to drop it once to throw it off. I'm not saying some blocks may not be flawed, as people have shown evidence of the casting line being present, I just think there is more to a lot of them. My advice is get a nice properly sized torque wrench, and do it by the book. Look at the new tool as an investment. [/QUOTE]
