I also smack the injectors with a rubber mallet and listen to them, they sound different when seated. Lay a straight edge over the tops of the injectors like stated before, it only takes an extra 3 seconds and gives instant feedback. It fun to have a "friend" watch to se if any oil squirts out of this glow plug hole when I bump it over. Make sure they are wearing safety glasses though.
