I had the stock pump wired to a switch to manually control when the pump ran. I did this for 2 reasons: 1. If the walbro was to fail(seems like they are hit or miss) I would have the stock pump to provide fuel pressure and get me back home. 2. If i was not able to maintain fuel pressure with just the walbro I could just flip a switch and have the flow that I needed to keep my fuel pressure up.
