It's my turn for the P1211 poke in the eye?
I have about 6000 miles on my Swamp's baby injectors and tunes. At about 2000, I started getting P1211 codes. I took the chip off and that helped getting the trick and camper home from Arizona. Can anyone say for sure a 97 15 degree stock HPOP with 76,000 miles on it, supply enough oil volume and pressure for the Swamp's baby injectors? I never got a CEL before the injectors were installed. I would like to say the baby injectors are great; for me.The Swamp's tunes are much better than the TS6 generic tunes. At some point, I would like to try Bill's tunes. The injectors and compression check was done by Performance Diesel in Green Bay. Fuel pressure is good and I'm getting 17 psi of boost. I changed oil (Rotella 15w40) before I left and is full. I cleaned meticulously and installed the fancy (can't remember the name) o-rings in the IPR before I left. I also checked each part with a magnifying glass for scoring or any indication of possible leaking or binding. Today I will deadhead the pump to check pressure and then the left and right banks for pressure and leak down. I will post the pressure test results tonight. The problem only occurs under load. So I don't know how to visually check each injector for the amount of oil coming out, unless the truck would be on a dyno? Are their any electrical tests I should be considering or is this a mechanical issue? So, would anyone have some advice before I start throwing money at this? I.e. 1st IPR, 2nd Adrenaline HPOP and last new injector o-rings.
