The transmission is different though; I think Ford deliberately over complicated the solenoid valve body (main control) to make it difficult for independent shops to do work on the 6R140. I've just been so hesitant to change anything because I don't want to deal with the back and forth of getting tunes dialed in. i know it's inevitable, but hopefully there's been more R&D and testing since the last time I tried "custom" tunes for my truck.
