Message: [QUOTE="ghohouston, post: 686643, member: 9421"] to pull the hpop? or just the plug? if you mean the hpop, you dont need any special tools, basic metric sockets, and a few extensions, and a good 3/8 ratchet. 10mm bolt heads hold the hpop on the timing cover, iirc its a 17 or 18 mm socket to get the bolt out of the hpop gear, be careful, there is a washer on the bolt too. you will probably have to remove the fuel bowl too. ive only replaced one 7.3 hpop, but one of the powerstroke mechanics at work says he doesnt have to remove the bowl b/c he has done it so many times... im honestly not sure if its true or not, but the bowl is easy to remove too [/QUOTE]
