That's all personal preference really. It also comes down to how much you want to spend and the size tires you plan to run.

I agree with Jeff. I had a 7'' lift on my last truck and was cool with it, now have 3.5'' on this one. I like the lower height because it still looks tough, but its more manageable around town and stuff. Being able to squeeze it into my garage is a nice plus too. Still, sometimes I catch myself passing someone in a bigger truck and thinking maybe I could go higher again....

My truck barely fits into my garage now.. That's why I'm worried about lifting it too high. I don't want it too big. I'm thinking maybe 2" or 4"

I would go with an Icon 2.5" leveling kit. Great ride quality. You could also add a 1" bottom mount spacer to achieve 3.5". You would want to address the rear as well with larger blocks, and shocks all the way around.

I have pretty much the identical truck and mine sits on 35's at stock height, I love the way it looks but I plan on adding a 1" front spacer and 3.5" rear blocks(1.5" rear lift) in the spring just to give it a bit more height.

Nice truck!! So you didn't even do a leveling kit? What's your wheel and tire setup? Looks sweet

Thanks, and nope it's just stock height, looks a bit higher in the front cause it's sitting on a hill in those pics, they're 20x9 bmf novakane with 35x12.50x20 mickey Thompson atz's, just drilled a small hole and zip tied back the inner fender and they fit perfect.

I like the looks of lifted trucks, but not the loss of power or the price of tires so my vote is level it and save the rest of the money for engine mods.

I already have an no limits fab egr delete, mini maxx race tuner, 5" straight pipe, sb intake.. Next thing I plan on doing is head studs. But I want new wheels and tires soon. But I think I'll go with leveling kit

leveling kit is a good choice. I do a lot of towing, and will be plowing with my truck next winter, otherwise it would get lifted 5-6" and I would be rolling on 38's but i plan to work it too much to have it that high up, so the icon 2.5" leveling kit with short arm 4 link is what i'm doing and 5.5" rear block so it keeps the factory rake, then i'm putting 37's on it.
