On my 02 super duty both the cig lighter and the power point socket are constant 12v.

Does anyone have a good recommendation on a wire to pull off of to switch one over to accessory power? I have something I want to plug in but I only want it on when the truck is on.

Not one that is easy to find, but what about the radio wire?

I usually just go through harnesses or the fuse box with a test light and cycle the key and see if it will do what I am looking for.

Update…..while searching the web I stumbled upon some Info.

If you look directly above the OBDII connector you will find a blue wire with white stripe. It’s in the bundle and flagged.
There is a factory-supplied customer access circuit that is HOT IN RUN and is fed off fuse CJB F29 (10A).

I used this and it worked perfectly.
