All the sensors need to adjust to the cold first, then after that you'll never have any issues. As for power, it's hard to really do anything that will void your warranty. Tuners can be run with the stock emissions system, but a noticeable drop in fuel mileage will be had as more fuel will create more emissions and that system will have to work more often, so then it has to go, and dealers do not like working on ******d trucks. I have never ran any fuel additives in my trucks other then a low sulfur additive in the 7.3 and older farm equipment, never had any issue at all with water or stickiy injectors. As for all those talking about smogs and emissions in Canada, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta do not have any legislature on it. Straight pipes and ******s are not illegal in the three provinces. Blacking out a stop light can get you a ticket yes, but other then that the systems can be removed (I found this through some searching before I got into the diesel game, this was a while back, if it has changed please correct me). However, Vancouver and the eastern provinces due have legislation very similar to that of the states where the vehicle cannot smoke for more than three seconds, bla bla bla. When it comes to emissions every province has been left to their own to decide what they want to do. I've heard rumors of some smog checks in Ontario, but nothing serious as of yet. [/QUOTE]
