Lower radiator hose

Anybody ever blow the lower hose? Yes I was being an arsehole out at my buddies place and blew the dang thing off. Shut it down now I'm refilling elc with a mess of a truck lol.

Never seen it happen. Was the metal clip missing or not in all the way? Maybe there was a lot of coolant pressure on it?

ive had 1 leak on the end that attaches to the radiator where the plastic 90* crimps onto the rubber section... but never seen a full on blow out. what radiator cap is on the degas bottle? maybe if its the wrong cap and a higher pressure it held too much in and the rad hose was the weak link?

Well I haven't touched it since I studded it last Nov. Factory cap on degas also. I've been ripping and tearing on truck a lot lately so who knows. Put it all back together and everything is fine again. I'm defiantly buying a new lower hose and jewelry to have on stand by. Just was curious if it's happened to you fellers.

So it just clicked. Transmission install. I bet it was knocked around while I was spinning crank bolting up the flexplate etc.
