I'll verify Ron again Driving a tuned 6.4 is completely different imho the 6.4 hits harder off the bottom but seems to fall off up top a little. At least here at 6000 feet. To me tho the 6.4 isn't as fun to drive because the throttle is more touchy and they produce way more smoke to do the same task. When I had my candy cane truck running i tried to get it to run as smoke free as my 6.7 but it just killed the response from it. I basically had to make it smoke a little from a stop to make it fun to drive. Apples to apples tho spool up is close once you control the smoke. At 1200 rpm the 6.4 would lug through where the 6.7 will need to downshift. The main difference there is tho the 6.7 is so much smoother on gear selection and converter lock that you almost don't even notice when it happens. It's really tough to compare but hopefully this helps you. I'm sure sea level evens out the playing field a bit.
