I drive at 75mph (120km/h) in Alberta on mostly flat highways for 500+km and I average around 17-18mpg and sometimes less if their is a headwind. I hooked up a 10000lb as soon as I hit 1500km and I beat on the truck to build up some heat and seat the critical engine compenants. I did this every few days for 2 weeks straight. I don't know if that contributed to getting better mileage or not but I think it has alteast a little to do with it. I would suggest maybe hooking up to a 10000lb trailer if available and do some pulling to possibly clean out any excess soot buildup from the stock emissions equipment. Get the truck good and warm and see if that helps at all. Maybe try a cetane booster too since Canadian Diesel is nowhere near as good as American diesel.
