IMO : in a stick truck, the pipe needs to come down angled towards the back of the truck overtop of the portion of the bellhousing where the pivot for the release lever is, and not beside it. It will either hit on the transmission case there, or the frame opposite. I have a manual transmission downpipe on my automatic truck, due to the fact that it fit that poorly on the original owners truck. And we spent a LONG time dinking with it to try and fit it.
