The owner of the other shop who was helping me out with this truck was honest. When that engine goes bad replace the whole fuel system from the tank to the HPIP. He didn't understand why the shop I just left would gamble so hard on this job. He is a big time Powerstroke guy. He said this fuel system is in fact that sensitive. Made sense to me, the filter for that engine are 2 micron filters. Where most others are 25-45 microns. Jeez, dow jones uses 25 micron filters to make human medicine. [/QUOTE]
