my gauges dont work!

I had a new GEM modual put in and my gauges still don't work. What's wrong with it?

I think you will have better luck posting in the 7.3 tech forum. How did you diagnose the GEM being bad? Did you have it programmed? I have heard of the Overdrive cancel switch wiring can kill the gauges as well as the accelerator pedal, are you having those issues?

I took it to a dealer and they said it was bad, sometimes my gauges come on.

Definitely sounds like a connection issue if they sometimes will come on.

i was told possibly a badground some where, i cant seem to find a wiring diagram for the dash.

Did you check the connection were you tap into the steering column wire. Is it your gauge lights that turn off randomly? Are they analog?.

the dummy lights randomly flash.

Oh wait i just realized you are talking about the factory console gauges. I was thinking aftermarket. my bad.
