Maybe it was because I used the SD backing plates vs the van ones but when the hub nut was tightened the hub would bind against the bracket mounting studs. Back part of the hub is actually counter-bored, the seal sits in the bottom part and the top is just clearance so removing the excess is no big deal. [/QUOTE]
