My truck has an odd shake at shutdown.

Hey guys, this just happened for the first time today, when I cut my truck off it shook. Used to I would cut it off and it just stopped, it didn't make any noise or shake it just cut off. But now it shakes. I think there was a post on this earlier but his was an auot and don't think he figures it out. Any suggestions? I can look the other way if needed but it weird.

Do you still have the dual mass clutch and flywheel installed? If you do that just may be your problem.

I'm guessing. I just bought the truck couple months ago. Its all stock

Its my truck that is doing it with an auto, and can't figure it out. Only thing i can come up with is bad engine/trans mounts, which i'll be replacing soon.

But if your truck is a 5 speed i'd say its the dual-mass flywheel.

I'd say so, when it shakes at the end it makes a single knock....

Is the result the same whether the clutch is in our out when you shut down? If it's different, I'd bet on the DMFW. Cheers!
