Navigation head unit question....

So my 2010 F250 does not have a factory navigation head unit, but I would like to get one. Is it even possible to just swap the units and everything still work (Sync, steering wheel controls)?

I've thought about swapping to an aftermarket unit, but want to retain the sync features. I know most aftermarket units offer Bluetooth, but I've heard the steering wheel controls will not be usable.

You can make the controls work with factory units but I think you can get an adapter and make any unit work if I am not mistaken.

Thanks for the info guys!! I'd really like to stick with a factory head unit, but if an aftermarket unit can be used that might be the way to go. Looks like factory units are hard to come by and in sure Ford wants a lot more than an aftermarket unit would cost.
