2003 F250 7.3---Forgot to plug the truck in this morning. Hit the remote start and it tried about 5-6 times to start before it ever did. Let warm up and took off down the road and made it about 1/4 miles and the truck just died like you turned the key off. Tracked down to a blown ignition switch/ run/start power circut fuse. Replaced the fuse and made another 1/2 miles and it blew again. Replaced the fuse again and brought it back to the house. Any thing to look for?

Unplug the white connector on rear of fuel filter housing.
Not sure what fuse your blowing but the fuel heater is linked with PCM power.
Could be your culprit.

That circuit goes thru the ignition switch, from there is the key on power for PCM power relay.
At the fuse it is hot always, switched thru ignition switch.

Ok thanks!!! I think i might have it fixed. but now my ps and brakes are not working. Worked fine before this happened. Had to pull off the road without ps when the fuse blew. Do you think it has air or something in it now?
