So I swapped my turbo with a streetmax x and originally swapped the hpfp with an Ind Inj 33% over. After installing the 33% I couldn't get it to crank so I had it towed. The guy who worked on it tested the pump and said the it just wouldn't pump fuel and swapped the oem one ait cranked right up. I drove it home and immediately swapped in a 2015 pump. Since then I keep getting a p228f code. I swapped the sensor on the front and rear of the fuel rail and still get the code. So today I decided to remove the sensor on the top of the 33% pump and it did have some shavings in it. So I removed the oem pumps sensor and it also had a small amount of metal. Fine but still there. Then I took the sensor off the 2015 that's installed now and there is no shavings or anything on it. So my question is what should I do now? I did run it with the oem pump about 20 miles and since there is some should I change the whole fuel system or can I just flush all the lines? The truck does run fine besides the code. The new pumps sensor actually had nothing in it. When I pulled the sensors the one on the back of the rail did have a very small amount of fine powder shavings but no sensor had any rust what so ever.
