So over the weekend installed a new deck and sub. I think my wiring harness is bad or had a few wires swapped. Plugged it all in and it didn't work, ugh, eventually hooked deck directly to battery and it turned on so knew it was a wiring issue. Bypassed harness with power wire as it wasn't working and now it works. Well the issue I'm having is the yellow (ignition) wire is getting constant power vs keyed (ignition on) power. I have to manually turn deck off and on. Does anyone know which wire is the ignition wire to the factory harness? Or which wire/fuse should I tap in to for a keyed/ignition source? I went with a jvc 230bt DVD head unit. I have an xl so didn't have Bluetooth or sync. Paid $170 for the 220 (factory refurb) and they sent the 230, so I scored. It's about 270 anywhere else I can find it. Alpine 600 watt rms amp pushing a classic Rockford fosgate punch hx2 12. Put the sub directly behind center console with some 2 inch risers and firing the sub down. I have kids and dogs so did not want it pointing up. Wired backup camera to upfitter switch 2 which is working great.
