Newbie with Questions

Putting air bags on the new dually the other day I noticed a square 6 prong plug on the frame above the axle on the driver side just rear of the DEF Tank.
Whats it for?

Also has anyone noticed that the stearing box is a slower ratio or is just me. Seems a lot slower than the 08 450.
