No guages, no window motors, dome and cargo light,radio nothing works....?

2003 f250 7.3, no mods, plain jane grandpa truck ..... so heres the problem nothing works. All of a sudden, no cab dome light/cargo light, windows do not work, radio, guage cluster is also not working. Any suggestions? Where to look?

Fuses under dash and under the hood all ok?

Once your key is turned on, bang on the dash above the instrument cluster above the tachometer (not so hard as to break the dash of course).

There is a small relay soldered to the circuit board of the instrument cluster that controls the retained accessory power-related stuff like windows and radio. The solder joints commonly fail causing the issue you describe. This is an 02-up thing and if tapping the dash solves your issue for the remainder of the key cycle, your problem has been found. It's not a difficult fix but there are places you can find online that specialize in the repair.
