I mean let's face it, if you have more blades then you have more surface area and if you have more surface area, you are going to have more interaction with the exhaust gases and more opportunity to get the wheel to spin sooner and depending on the efficiency of the wheel, the difference in top end flow, and drive pressure may very well be nominal at best. I'll tell you what. I think I may have a way to test this to see what is what. I will get an 03/Pmax turbine housing and will build a turbo that can be manipulated to be either a regular 10 bladed Pmax, 13 bladed Pmax, 10 bladed LLY turbo, or a 13 bladed LLY wheel. I will monitor peak drive pressure, peak boost, peak EGTs, peak IAT, and peak MAF. Anything else I should monitor?? [/QUOTE]
