[QUOTE="windrunner408, post: 438590, member: 1868"] No, going to anything lower than 4.88 (i.e. 4.50s, 4.30s, 4.10s, etc) will make the engine slower for the same speed but it will load the motor more. As far as the Atlas 40 tune goes, there is a possibility that this is your problem (the FICM tune is fighting the ECM tune or vice versa). I have tried various FICM tunes (from both Bill and IDP) and when I ran Bill's Hercules 100 tune, my truck made no more power that I could feel and all it did was smoke like a pig and run hot. Bill's Economy FICM tune felt like it made less power than my IDP Mild FICM tune and ran the same temp wise. The Atlas 40 is a mild FICM tune so I doubt that it is the problem. However, what size nozzles do you have on your injectors (just to rule this out)?? You could always just flash your FICM back to a stock strategy and see how it does but I really dont think that the Atlas 40 is the culprit here. At least I wouldn't blame it just yet. JMO of course.
