Same thing has happened at Mobile One with their syn. Schaeffers tells you exactly what you are getting within reason even with the additives. A number of rep companies also use Schaeffers oils/lubes to include BTS, Beans, Valair, etc.. When looking at oils for our Heui driven engines the number that IMO is the most critical to look at once you have chosen between dino, Fake Syn, or Real syn oils is the HTHS Value (High Temperature High Shear) Then things like the TBN which are going to be lower with real syn oils.
