I do not want to do an axle swap. The next best option is believed to be rsk the SD springs. What about other coil spring conversions. Are there any? On fakebook I saw an OBS with a single arm sticking out the back and hooked to what looked like the OEM spring mount. I remember reading in the comments where someone noticed he had the One arm, or single arm conversion and seemed to know exactly what it was. They talked like it was a common aftermarket manufacturer. Google has failed me. Everything seems to be overshadowed by 05+ swaps It looked like it was made from DOM tubing. Maybe an eyelet on the end. Could not see where it attached to the axle. Don't know if it was an F250 or 350. It was on a 95-97 power stroke 4x4. Spent hours looking for the post and cannot find it. Anyone aware of the conversion? Or similar? I can't imagine it would be so hard to create a trailing arm, coil spring system for the front suspension. With +05 axle swaps running $1000-$2500 I would imagine another system could easily be cost competitive. We already have a track bar. Building the arms is easy. Coil buckets are easy. hardest part I see is a clamping system for the axle. Controlling Caster probably the most difficult part. Haven't figured that part out, at least without cutting all the factory saddles off the axle first at which point you could just build a standard 4 link.
