Ok got the single setup and fuelers. Fuel is there but I keep getting turbo codes and the turbo doesn't want to light. Is it the tuning? I have idp single tunes.

my truck wasnt responding to any throttle input. we figured out that changing any of the settings on the sct would screw up the tune. only option i could change is selecting nonvvt turbo option. change anything else and the truck would be gutless.

hmmm... Eric sent me a custom tune that I need to try tomorrow morning. I need to reset the truck to stock and update the tuner. He's thinking that may be most of my issues. Rolling into the throttle the turbo would slowly spool up to about 8 psi but that's about it. Sucks that where I'm building is almost 45 minutes away with no internet access so I have to wait to tomorrow to head back up. She's getting fuel though, that's for sure lol.

So you just left all the settings as is beside the turbo? Including the dual pumps, injectors, etc?

I'm running a ii pump. But ya left everything else as is. Might be worth a shot. Hell I drove around with my spartan 310 tune before that because we didn't know what was up with my sct.

its just how the truck acted when i would change the settings on the sct. id try only changing the turbo option and leaving the rest on stock settings.

I'm going to update the firmware on my sct then I'll give that a try. Not sure how it'll respond by not choosing the dual pumps setting, but since my are spliced into the factory hpfp lines would it really make a difference?

Well I'm no longer getting those codes but tried a new custom tune Eric wrote me and got a p1336 which is crank position sensor code. It's only on that tune so idk. Out of curiosity where is the CPS and how do I check it?

That code is coming up for me as well with my new IDP tunes. Been trying to figure out why.

The CPS is on the drivers side of the block towards the front. There is also a cam position sensor that is on the opposite side of the block that the code also relates to I believe.

:edit I may have mixed those up.

Is the turbo spooling now?

Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 2

On the other tunes yes. It seems pretty over fueled on the pre programmed tunes but will spool nice when easing into it. If I get on it pretty hard it's just a smoke show for a while. Eric wrote me another custom tune as well that seemed to work but same thing, over fueled so this new one was a clean x street. Had very minimal smoke off the bottom but throws the p1336 code as soon as the turbo starts to spool.

I'll try and track down those sensors just to make sure everything is connected and nothing loose

Hmm I tried clearing it but as soon as I get into the throttle it comes back. Only on this cleaner tune though

Ok cool. I was gonna throw new sensors in but kind of figured it was related to tuning somehow and now that a few others are dealing with this code it makes me think it's tuning.

I need it figured out unfortunately due to state inspections here in MA.
