If I run in tow mode the shift problems disappear, if I shift manually the problems disappear, and if I unload a file a reload a new one it shifts good for a day and then goes right back to being a PITA. I have a horrible 1-2 shift that sometimes flares(?) basically the transmission slams back and forth between 1-2 as if the line pressure is not enough or too much to make the shift; this happens at low speed like in bumper to bumper traffic. The 3-2 downshift feels like the transmission is falling out of the truck, literally if you didn't see my truck driving by the sound would make you think someone was rear ended. Now I am getting a slip shift from 3-4 and 5-6 and at heavy throttle the gap is so long I hit red line before it goes to 6th (scary!) I just let off the throttle when that happens. Shop said fluid is good, no burnt smell, filter is clean, etc...no sign it is giving out so since I can run in tow mode or manual without issue I figure it is the transmission file. I have only had H&S can and GH so if anyone has a suggestion or maybe thinks it is something other than the tune (like a faulty TCM) let me know. I'm almost ready to sell it but no one would buy it the way it shifts. :cursing: [/QUOTE]
