I then put this hose into a gas (diesel) can... Next, I disconnected the pump outlet hose from the inlet side from Driven Diesel post pump fuel filter and put it in it's own can... I then turned the key and let the pump run... It turns out the pump is surging. The flow is not consistent and flows "normal" for about 10 seconds, drops off for a second or two, then comes back.
