Strongly thinking about doing a projector HID retrofit into some diamond clear housings on my truck. Some parts of it are a little foggy though. I know i could buy complete bolt in housings that are already retrofitted but those are really expensive. I also could by a complete retrofit kit and then retrofit it myself, but that still is pretty expensive. That got me to thinking, if i could find some projectors and then get an HID kit like DDM tuning it would greatly reduce the cost of this project. I found these Morimotos....http://www.amazon.com/Morimoto-TRS-9951-Bi-xenon-Projectors-Graphite/dp/B00BXSNXIO/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1377570104&sr=8-9&keywords=morimoto+hid It says they use an H1 bulb. I know my truck uses 9007 from the factory. In the description on those projectors it says they have a 9006 input. So does that mean if my truck had 9006 from the factory it would be a 100% plug and play(obviously still need a ballast kit)? If that is the case would i simply need to get something like this...http://www.theretrofitsource.com/product_info.php?products_id=14032 that would let me basically connect the 9006 ballast to the 9007 factory harness? Sorry for being so "wordy" lol. Just kind of lost with all of this, thus making it hard to explain. Thanks for any help.
