Regardless, the key is finding a well maintained truck that fits your wants and needs and hasn't been abused. I paid about $8k for a bone stock, clean, rust free 7.3 with north of 200k 5 years ago. There's no way I'd be paying more than that for one these days as much as I love them. For that kind of money I'd be looking at a much newer vehicle.
