Radiator Hose Collapsed

The upper hose that comes off the top, drivers side of radiator was collapsed the other day. Its the large one with the soft heat shield material on it.We did have a cool night by S Florida standards (55*). When I opened the cap on the tank it expanded. Normal??

Completely normal. Mine has done it since new. I'm now at 85k miles.
