I had the truck develop a tapping sounds then started white smoking very badly. I checked all the valve springs and rocker arms and such, all is okay. Just curious if the oil not being deflected down into the bottom end, if the oil could have built up in the head enough to possibly get into the intake valve area and be burnt?
