This all started with my swapping to 04 axles on my 94.5 PSD. After that I got a wild hair to put the polished 5 spoke 20 inch lariat wheels. Found a set on CL for cheap so once I go get them I am going to need tires. I have a factory size F350 so I am a little hesitant on the 33/12.50r20 look on it but I am willing to try it since I found a set of nitto 420s 305/50r20 for cheap. Just curious how they are as a tire. I live in central PA so snow and ice are a normal thing. I dont do much off roading minus the occasional fire road.

Basically any input you guys have on the tire or what its gonna look like would be great. I feel like I am taking a big swing here putting big wheels on an OBS

BTW here is the truck in question (paint coming after winter is over)

Never driven in snow and ice but they do good on wet roads. Not so good on grass though, spins very easy. Also don't do burnouts because they go fast. 3 small burnouts I'd say took about 20-25% off of them.

If you don't use them I will buy them.

They are pretty tire that provide excellent traction in perfect conditions. They are technically not tires for a work truck. Or a truck thats going to be driven in inclement weather with them on.

How the heck are you guys or anybody getting 20k miles out of tires on a SD truck? Let alone with burn outs.

They're not strong tires. I have about 3k on mine and I'll say I'll probably get 15k maybe 20 out of them.

But really they're a dirt cheap tire to begin with. If you're getting a good deal on a set buy the fuggers and let it ride. Gonna have to bring that truck down for them to look good though.
