S&S DPK Install and Engine Miss

Hello all ! 16 350 with only 20k and pampered like a first child, S&S DPK kit installed yesterday, did the three cycle start up, fired it and got a few skips and rumbles as you always do after a filter change then a steady obnoxious miss... Strange thing is I have no CES and wish I did so I could diagnose easier... I'm not sure if my EZYLink monitors injectors in real time but I did order FORscan but my cable wont be here till next week... Anyway I sure hope a piece of crap didn't wreck an injector or worse but sure sounds like it, considering I was meticulously clean as I always am that would SUCK ! Any thoughts or suggestions would be great, Thanks guys and Happy Independance Day !

Imo, 3 cycles isn't enough. I've done quite a few of these and my rule with every thing is 6 cycles, 20-30 seconds each. You should Def notice a change in pump tone once it lugs down and is pushing straight fuel.

Thanks Dee, the third cycle the fuel system sounded smooth plus its been ran now several times hoping to get a CES and still has an awful miss...

All your lines are on the correct way, no kinks in any of them? Didn’t bump and injector plug when disconnecting the line on the valve cover?

All good in that respect I believe, it was strange I started it, it grumbled and missed a bit then smoothed out and prolly 30 seconds later started missing pretty badly
