Mike -didn't he have a small shot on that truck ? JW I am also wondering the same....but i feel like if gated properly that it will be able to last a while. but the horn on the compressor is going to rear its head one day i am sure. I wanted to do the tests the same is the reason for the same tune no added fuel or lift pump. There seems to be to many things that can vary when everyone is going for times to go faster. But that was not the point of what we were trying to see. we can make the truck faster with more fuel if we want i just wanted to see what "in stock form" how the truck would handle pushing the Atmo, and if it would gain anything all conditions being the same. With that being said we have noticed a big drop in egt's from 1750* or so down to 1440*this is on your out of the box 300 tune at WOT down the track. So since I like my pistons and valves and heads :) I feel like we are heading in a good direction. I did not want someone to buy the kit and not enjoy any gains on stock fuel truck. The plans for the truck is 100% nozzles and fuel system and transmission along with valve spings and dual fuel setup. Again this is just a stepping stone as someone is planning on adding power in the future. Hope this helps everyone understand on what our goal is. I knew we were not going to set the world on fire on stock fuel.Wanted to make sure test were consistent as i could keep them and go from there. Now in a few weeks we can add some fuel but gonna need tires to stick to the track first LOL.
