I gave them a ring, left a message, 5 minutes later I had a rep from the repair department call me back and explain the reason the pump had done that. He did admit it was manufacture defect. There was too much solder on the connection which ran down the wire and made the wire unable to turn as much as needed to have clearance once the cap was on. He asked when pump was purchased and approximate mileage. Asked for my info and told me a pump is being sent to me today. No charge. I put my RMA number on the outside of the box and ship it back to them. Boom done. The customer service was second to none. Hands down. I'll be customer for life with these guys. [/QUOTE]
