I used a grinder and ground the rivets out then used an air hammer with chisel to pry the coil buckets off. To install the axle took me 12 hours by myself. I took beer breaks every once in a while. The next day I put the blocks on the back. I drove it like this for 2 months before I had the Trans stripped down and rebuilt with the 4wd output shaft. The only new parts I bought were drive shafts and I got those from bronco graveyard. Everything else I got from a scrap yard and craigslist. I actually found an np273 transfer case for $75.00.
