T444E motor

Does anyone know if the T444E motor is the same block as in the super duty? This motor is out of a heavy truck. Can this motor be used for performance up grade.

block is the same. Some claim that there is a difference in the cam, but I put an engine from a 99 international 4700 into a 01 f450 with no issues. Just changed the bolt on things that are different and swapped out the injectors.

it may depend on what version of the T444E you are using but i heard the IH head gasket is a little thinner then what ford uses..makes the valve clearance a little tighter...other then that..there all the same..

Ron is there a good version of this motor? Are they forged rods? I just thought I throw it out there to see if this motor is worth getting. I have a e99 motor on the side already.

there all the same once you take them down to a long block..our E99 rollback had a 195 high torque...
