Truck is a 2003 with the 6.0 Been having cranking issues. For the longest we thought it was stiction...plugged in she would fire right up. Truck runs perfect at idle, even on the cold days, but lately developed a miss with a load in it. Then in the last week it's getting even hard to crank when the truck is warm. Ran AE this morning. Truck wasn't plugged in last night. Temps in the high teens. Turned over 3 times an fired, chugged for a second and went dead. Big cloud of smoke out the tailpipe. Turned over again for 10-15 seconds before it fired and ran. Here are some of the numbers... No internet at home so I can't post the file. Right before it fired... Rpms 117 ICP 48.15 psi, desired 2299, ICP voltage .29, IPR 84.7% Soon as it started running.. Rpms 1157 ICP 1913, desired 1534, voltage 2.1, IPR 52% I let it run a couple mins then shut it off and cranked again. ICP went up to 1500psi again before it fired, IPR was again high at around 77%. Voltage this time went to almost 5v until it fired. ICP actual never lags behind desired, and it is holding pretty stable at idle. ICP voltage is hanging between 1-2v. Been running for about 15mins now. ICP is holding in the 600's, IPR about 22%. I wish I could post the file...probably would make more sense than me just telling numbers. I assume we are looking at an oil pressure problem here? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
