tips for tightening up pipes to manifold?

i got a leak on my passengerside up pipe where it bolts to the manifold, its as tight as i can get it and it still leaks pretty good? whats the proper way to do this? i pulled the up pipes and turbo to install a efuel kit from jake. after that it hasnt been 100% sealed. is there a way to loosen by the donut tighten the flange then tighten the donut agian? its acting like that side is to short. thanks

You could try loosening the donut flange at the turbo, tightening the manifold joint and then retighten the donut flange. It might work, but you could also get a leak at the donut afterwards. Cheers!

One cure is to take off 0.020" or so off of the uppipe gasket clamp to allow the clamp to tighten up a bit more, but you have to pull the turbo to do this.
