How does the DIYer accurately (or close enough) torque bolts/nuts such as the trac bar or pitman arm.

I am talking about the DIYer that doesn't own a torque multiplier?

(Anyone in So Cal want to loan me one?)

Both are in the 350 - 400 lb ft range.

Go to your local commercial tire repair and ask if they will torque it to spec for you. They have tq wrenches that go well above that spec.

Thats what i did when i did the last trac bar install just to be safe.

I used my m18 Milwaukee 1/2 inch moster tq impact. When they clicked off 400 ftlbs. It never moved so i asume i was over torquing it. Lol. Lill lube helps get i there also.
